About the Author

Boruch Cohen received a B.A from Wesleyan University, followed by acceptance to Columbia University's MFA fiction program. However, after meeting an inspiring rabbi and learning about his heritage, he transferred to the Rabbinical College of America, leading to a 25-year career in Jewish outreach.

He is a lifelong member of the Unemployed Philosophers Guild, and one of the only rabbis in North America who still uses his shoe phone for important calls.

About the Book

Think Outside the Lox is a collection of short, delightful essays about being Jewish.

The book can be enjoyed by anyone, from the Hebrew school dropout to the advanced Talmudic scholar.
